Debra A. Johnson Obituary

Debra Johnson passed away suddenly on Friday April 3, 2015. She was born on December 18, 1956 to the late Albert and Jeanne Champeau Zippilli in Suffern, NY. Debbie retired from the NYSTA after 35 years, and was a shop steward for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 72. She then worked at Kelly's Pharmacy in Greenville. Debbie was a member of the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church for 17 years. She was a lover of animals, and would take in stray cats. She loved her moose and her eagles. Debbie was an avid supporter of the GCS athletic teams, she was their #1 fan. She was a devoted wife and mother, especially to her son who weighed only 1 ½ lbs at birth.

Debra is survived by her husband, Peter Johnson; her brothers, Larry (Joan) Zippilli and Paul (Jane) Zippilli; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 17th at 2pm in the Greenville High School Gymnasium.
