Obituary of Evelyn M. Brown

OAK HILL – Evelyn M. Brown, 92, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn on June 17, 1922 to the late Malcolm and Mary (Geissler) Goeller. Evelyn lived in Oak Hill for 47 years and was a member of the Durham Senior Citizens Club. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Frederick C. Brown. Evelyn is survived by her sister-in-law Virginia Brown, brother-in-law Edmond Brown, cousins Jeanne Thomaston and Ann Pentola, and caretakers Charles Post and Jenna Marsh. A funeral service will be held at a later date at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
