Mary L. Dwyer of Freehold passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. She was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Fleming Sullivan. Mary is survived by her husband of more than 55 years, Thomas; beloved mother of Margaret (Barry) Feml, Thomas Dwyer (Carrie Anderson) and Linda (the late David) Rose; devoted grandmother to Raymond Feml, Renee Dwyer, Jessica (Billy) Moreau, Shawn (Amanda) Rose, Nicole Feml, T.J. Dwyer, and Mitch Dwyer; doting great-grandmother to Mackenzie, Jace, Nathan and Levi; dear sister to Eileen (Bruce) Alber and the late Patricia Sullivan; sister-in-law to Robert (Karen) Dwyer. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was involved in many community organizations, such as the Freehold Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Greene County Volunteer Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary, both of which she was a past President. She was also a member of the Catskill Elks Lodge, Greene County American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Irish Cultural & Sports Center. Mary also served on the Greene County Republican Committee, of which she was First Vice-Chair, the Greenville Republican Committee and the NYS Republican Committee. She also was involved in the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

Calling hours will be Monday 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Greenville. Interment will be held at a later date.
