Obituary of Patricia A. Porter

Patricia A. Porter (62) of Middleburgh, NY passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Albany Medical Center on Jan. 21, 2015. She was born in Hudson NY on June 5, 1952 daughter of the late Sigurd & Marian (Simmons) Holmquist. Patricia worked for many years and retired from the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation in Albany, NY. She was married to her best friend Ronald Porter for 45 years. She enjoyed traveling and her many vacations with her family in Florida. Patricia was very proud of her grandchildren; "they were the love of her life". She will be remembered fondly by her family and many friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Scott Porter. Surviving are her husband Ronald Porter, a son Michael Porter (Christine), a daughter Amy Bartlett (Heath); her grandchildren Samantha & Nicholas Porter, Lane & Lacey Bartlett, sisters Theresa Vinetti, Mary Ellen DiGiulio and Denise Kelly, also a lifelong friend Carol Duncan. Funeral service will be 4:00 pm Sunday Jan. 25, at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR81, Greenville, NY 12083.
