GREENVILLE – Anne M. McNerney, age 69, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in County Cavan, Ireland on January 23, 1945 and is survived by her husband, Sean McNerney.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, Anne is survived by her children, Margaret (Pasqualino) Pepe, John McNerney, and Michael (Donna) McNerney; her grandchildren, Patricia, Kristine, Katherine, Keili, Michael, Nicholas, Ryan, and Kenzie.
She is also survived by her mother, Margaret McGovern and her siblings, John (Monica) McGovern, Paddy (Maisey) McGovern, Oliver (Maureen) McGovern, Francie (Irene) McGovern, Mary (Kieran) O'Neill, Tony McGovern, Margaret (Seamus) McCarthy, and Jerry (Bernie) McGovern; including many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her father, Charles J. McGovern.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 12 noon at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, 2052 State Route 145, East Durham, followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery. Condolence page at ajcunninghamfh.com.
