Obituary of Gustav W. Haller

Gustav W. "Bill" Haller, 89 years, of Greenville, NY passed away on May 2, 2010 at the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. He was born in Huntington, NY on Mar. 8, 1921, son of the late Julius and Mary (Hellscher) Haller. Bill served his country in the US Navy with the Seabees during WWII. He was a Carpenter and a Painter. Bill was a member of the Greenville American Legion Post #291, the Westerlo Vol. Fire Co. and he Mellville Vol. Fire Co. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by four sisters and a brother. Surviving are his wife, Adelaide (Rasmussen) Haller of Greenville, NY, his daughter, Nancy Snow (Ron), a son, William Haller (Christine), six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. As to his wishes he was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 3 PM at the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church in South Westerlo, NY to which all are invited. He will be interred in the Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY on July 14, 2010.
