Kathleen Was the staple of Irish Hospitality McGraths has been the steadfast heart and soul of this small town and she the Mother of it all ! Fun nights w Dads cousin Mike Joyce, playing guitar and cracking jokes, visits to the Falls in the back in childhood, early morning breakfasts with the cousins visiting from Ireland , and she always the joyful host!. Not enough words to say Thank You for All you brought to our culture, our community and our Faith. Heaven gains a rare gem and we forever grateful. Rest with the angels, surely youre in a sing song up there with Gabriel, having a laugh, a smoke, some quiet conversation, and maybe even a wonderful Irish breakfast in the morning,,,,,,, GOD REST!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Kathleen was a lovely and funny lady. May God welcome her home and may he watch over all of her friends and family during this difficult time. Take comfort knowing that she suffers no more and instead is looking down on us and smiling.

Mike Warren and I spent many a happy time with Kathleen and Mattie in McGrath's. We have many fond memories of late nights and Irish breakfast spent in the company of friends including Pat & Madeline McGullicuddy. I visited with Kathleen 2 weeks ago in East Durham and have always enjoyed her company - she will be missed. I am away in Virginia this week with my grandchildren and am sorry I will not be there in person.
Miss you forever.
Love
Pat Warren

Kathleen was quite a trooper, even with all that pain she hung in there. we had some good times even though she worked me to the bone when I first moved up here and offered to help her at mcgraths. I had to remind her that I was already retired and that we were the same age.
what energy she had.
many good times spent with her and friends at mc graths.
so sorry for your loss, she was one of a kind.
