Obituary of Donald E. Cobb

CAIRO – Donald E. Cobb, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson after a long illness. Born in Jefferson, Georgia, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and later worked as a sheet metal worker. He has resided in Greene County for the past 20 years. He is survived by Frank & Gail Deyo who were like family to him, and Michelle & Gary Stalker, who called him their "second father". He is a grandfather figure to Destiney Deyo, Sabrina and Melissa Bennett, Jimmy and Ashley Conarpe, and Amanda Murray. The funeral will be Monday at 12 noon at A.J.
