Obituary of Nellie E. Margiasso

Nellie E. Margiasso, age 81, passed away Sunday July 27, 2014 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Coxsackie on October 30, 1932 to the late William and Flora (Waddington) Diamond. She was raised in the Coxsackie – Medway area; in which she resided during her life. Nellie was a housekeeper for the Green Lake Resort, but her true passion was her dear and loving family. Nellie is survived by her children, Joann (John) Irving, Shirley (Ron) Winnie, Carolyn (Sal) Multari, and Steven Deyo; her grandchildren, John, Sarah, Angela, Mandy, Jacob, Amber Joy, Liza, and Lindsey; her great-grandchildren Emma, Travorn, and Schyler; her sisters Margueritta and Nita; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husbands Hiram Deyo and James Margiasso, and her siblings Charles, William, Manly, Alida, Marguerite, and Mary. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 11am at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Homes, Inc., 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, with burial to follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
