Obituary of Mildred L. Spinner
WEST COXSACKIE β Mildred L. (Kaiser) Spinner, 84, of Bethany Village, passed away Tuesday morning, June 17, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson after a brief illness. Born in Catskill on September 18, 1929, she was daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Hoffman) Kaiser, and wife of the late August C. Spinner, who predeceased her on October 10, 1998. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Freehold, before moving to Bethany Village 10 years ago. She was employed as a clerk in the Freehold Country Store for many years. Mildred was a member and past trustee of the Freehold Congregational Christian Church, and past president of the Ladies Aid Society. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of both the Freehold Volunteer Fire Company and the Greenville American Legion Unit 291.
Mildred is survived by seven children, August Spinner Jr. (Colleen), Sandra Zarcone (Kenneth), Thomas Spinner (Lorraine), Molly Flores (Terry), Paul Spinner (Diane), Mark Spinner (Deneen), and Michael Spinner; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was predeceased by her siblings, Fred Kaiser, Helen Thomson and Harold Kaiser.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Friday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
