Marian L. Hildebrandt, 90 years, of Hannacroix, NY passed away on Apr. 7, 2010 in the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. She was born in Schenectady, NY on Feb. 4, 1920, daughter of the late Carl and Ethel (Shufelt) Hoyt. Marian was raised in Canterberry, NH in a Shaker village. Marian was a Homemaker and loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Pratt, a son, Robert Hildebrandt, a sister, three brothers and her long time companion, Fred Van Riper. Surviving are her seven children, Diane Franz (William) of Florida, Rudolph Hildebrandt of Hannacroix, NY, Eydthe Auerbach (Alan) of Galway, NY, Barbara Hildebrandt of Florida, Rose Keeler (Dennis) of Florida, Dean Hildebrandt of Coeymans, NY and Deborah Hildebrandt of Hannacroix, NY, 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a "Special Friend" Lynn Irwin.
