William S. Lenart (65) of Greenville, NY passed away at his home on Feb. 21, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born in New York City on Jan. 15, 1949 son of the late William & Helen (Gaby) Lenart. Bill served in the US Army. For a time he ran the Route 32 Pub in Greenville. He had last worked at Albany Molecular Research Institute in Albany, NY. He enjoyed planting, traveling & cooking and listening to music. His day was not complete without reading the NY Post and keeping up to date by watching The Fox News Network. He will be remembered by his family and friends as being a man of many opinions. He will be missed by his many friends and loving family. Surviving is his wife Margaret (Duffek) Lenart, a son Derek Lenart (Nicole) and siblings Joseph, John, Michael, Steven & Linda. Funeral service will be 7;30pm on Mon. Feb. 24 at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 1 to 4pm and 6 to 7:30pm prior to the service. Spring interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
