So sorry to hear about Uncle Earl. I have fond memories of visiting the ice cream shop in Groveland with Dad and having raspberry-lime rickeys.
Seems like just yesterday when we would meet for Green family reunions and the four brothers entertaining us with their own brand of humor. My heart goes out to you- it is so hard to lose a Dad.
Mr. Green definitely did love God and His people. I have so many memories of him faithfully teaching the high school class (read the Bible and pray), serving in Boys Brigade, playing softball on Tuesday evenings, etc. etc... He and Mrs. Green meant a lot to me and they made a difference in my life. May it give the entire Green family great comfort knowing that Mr. Green is now in the very presence of our God, where we shall join him someday. II Cor. 5:8
It was a blessing to be at First Baptist for so many years seeing Earl so faithfully serve the Lord. He invested so much in the lives of the young people including our 3 sons. He made such a difference in so many lives. May the Lord comfort your whole family as only He can.
Love,Carol and Doug
