GREENVILLE – William F. Barbara, 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday January 30th. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was raised in Brooklyn, NY. William joined the Army in 1967 and fought in the Vietnam War, earning several decorations such as National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Device, Vietnam Service Medal, and Sharpshooter (Rifle). William is survived by his spouse, Ann (Hafl) Barbara; his daughter, Janet Ferrara (David Stone); his step-son, Daniel Doyle; and his granddaughter, Gina Marie Ferrara. He is predeceased by his parents, Sam and Rose (Rossi) Barbara; and his siblings, Guydon Barbara and Lorretta Walsh. Calling hours will be held on Sunday February 2nd from 2 – 5pm at A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81 Greenville, NY 12083, and the funeral to follow Monday February 3rd at 9:30am with burial at Saratoga National Cemetery directly after.
