Obituary of Daniel S. Stewart

CAIRO – Daniel S. Stewart, 55, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at his residence. Born in Gilboa on August 22, 1958, he was son of the late Benjamin and Hilda Brink Stewart. He spent his early childhood in Gilboa, then moved to Cairo where he was raised and spent most of his life. Daniel operated his own business, Daniel Stewart Well Drilling, after taking over from his father in 1987. He had a strong interest in antique automobiles and was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hiking, hunting and fishing. Daniel is survived by his wife, Lisa Lonergan Stewart; his children, Danielle (Joseph) Marcello, Derek (Marissa) Stewart, Dana Stewart, Joseph Talley, Theresa Jayson, Liam Lonergan, Ryan Lonergan, and Alissa Lonergan; his siblings, Ron Stewart, Mike Stewart, Kevin Brink, Linda Wickham, Debbie Brink, and Doris Rivenburg; his grandchildren, Derek Elia Stewart, Destin Ly, Alanna Stewart, Daniela Hernandez, Austin Stewart, Jayden Marcello, and Morgan Stewart; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be from 4 – 8pm on Friday January 17th at the A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, and the funeral service at 10am on Saturday January 18th at A. J.
