Obituary of Maude E. Kent

Kent, Maude E., 72 years of Hannacroix, NY passed away on Dec. 29, 2013 in St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. She was born in Montague, MA on May 6, 1941, daughter of the late Walter & Winifred (Critchley) Bennett. She had worked at Montgomery Ward and the Greenville Central School. Maude loved to do needle point and crochet. She was an avid cake maker, making wedding and birthday cakes and loved gardening and camping. She was a member of the Medway C.C. Church and Past President of the Medway Church Crusaders. Maude was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, Maude was predeceased by a sister Rose Marie Bennett and a brother Winfred Bennett. Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Ronald Kent, a daughter, Cynthia Dobert (John), two sons, Jesse Kent (Bonnie) and Phillip Kent, four grandchildren, Christina & Kelly Schwartz, and Amanda & Paula Kent, a brother, Walt Bennett, Jr. (Joan) ; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY 12083. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4 to 7:30 pm. Burial will be on Saturday at 11 am in the Riverside Cemetery in Coxsackie, NY.
