Obituary of James I. Revette
GREENVILLE - James Isaac Revette (Jimmy), 48, departed this earth suddenly on Thursday, December 19, 2013, after a long courageous battle with diabetes and the complications associated with it. Born in Albany on November 19, 1965 he was the youngest child of Isaac and the late Eleanor Revette. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of the area; he grew up in South Westerlo on Route 406. He attended Greenville Central School, and was a member of the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church.
Jimmy was a U.S. Army reservist. He went to Chauffeurs Training School and obtained his commercial driver’s license, he drove trucks for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and motorcycles. He also enjoyed fast cars, vintage pickups and ATV’s. He had a fondness for animals, his favorite dog that he was very proud to brag about was a white wolf–husky mix he named Snowy. He recently took up the hobby of raising game birds.
Jimmy is survived by his two children, Jese (Alyssa) & Jamiee (Tyler), two grandsons Johnathan and Jeremy. His siblings are Joseph & Denise Revette, Edward & Barbie Revette, Albert & Donna (Revette) Jaycox. Jimmy is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Services will be Monday, December 23, 7-8pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville. A cremation is planned and interment in the Greenville Cemetery at a later date. Light a candle at ajcunninghamfh.com.
