Obituary of Charlotte E. Rogers

MEDUSA – Charlotte E. Teator Rogers, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson after a long illness. Born in Catskill on July 8, 1934, she was daughter of the late Orlando and Glenna Fitch Teator. Charlotte was raised in Durham and graduated from Greenville Central School. She was employed as a legal secretary at the law firm of Curtis, Warren & Fori, and as a bookkeeper at State Telephone Company, both in Coxsackie, retiring in 1996. Charlotte enjoyed reading, and observing nature. Charlotte is survived by three children, Kevin J. Rogers, Jeffrey W. Rogers, Ph.D., and Cindy L. (Wesley) Moore; her grand-daughter, Kristy A. Castillo Moore; great-grandson, Ivan Alexander Castillo; cousin and lifelong friend, Roberta Soderblom; several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by her siblings, Donald and Ferris Teator and Barbara Hallock. Cremation has been performed privately. Burial of her ashes will take place at a later date in Potter Hollow Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Durham Center Museum will be appreciated. Arrangements by A.J.
