Obituary of Bradley H. Case
CONESVILLE β Bradley H. Case, 87, passed away on Monday morning, October 21, 2013 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Conesville on June 10, 1926, he was son of the late Clifford H. and Irma Hull Case. Mr. Case was a lifelong resident of Conesville, and wintered in Vero Beach, FL for several years. He was a lifelong farmer and operated his own excavating business. He also was a school bus driver for Gilboa-Conesville schools, and a talented musician, playing the saxophone, piano and accordion, as well as being a square dance caller. Mr. Case was one of the founding members of the Conesville Rescue Squad, and was a member of the Conesville Volunteer Fire Company.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Bernice A. Van Wormer Case; son, Gary J. (Sharon) Case; grandchildren, Joseph (late Joyce) Case, Andrew (Shannon) Case, William Case, Farah (Jesse) Raeder and Robert (Adriana) Case; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Samantha and Gabriella Case.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Thursday at 12 noon at the funeral home, followed by burial in Manorkill Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations to Community Hospice of Schoharie County will be appreciated.
