Obituary of Jacey Barnett Sheridan

HANNACROIX - Jacey Barnett “Jace” Sheridan, 21 years old, beloved son, loving big brother and best friend, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Born in Albany on May 15, 1992, Jacey was the cherished son of John and Cheryl Sheridan and brother of Garianne Sheridan. He is also survived by his Grandparents Sherry and Chris Sheridan, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and pre-deceased by his Grandparents Bob and Ann Albano. He was a great friend with a tender soul and quick wit. Jace will be in many hearts forever. Jace attended Greenville Central School and Hudson Valley Community College and worked at the Ararat Center in Greenville for 7 years. An exceptional baseball player, he also enjoyed basketball, reading, gardening, camping, history, fantasy football (his advice was sought by many), hiking, being with friends and his dogs Cheyenne and Gypsie. Jacey cherished his home with the view of the Catskills. The family will be having a Memorial Service at their home, 727 County Route 111, Hannacroix, NY 12087 on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 am. Pastor Will Balta, South Westerlo Congregational Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Jacey’s memory be made to the “Jacey Sheridan Memorial Fund” to benefit his life’s interests: baseball, his work, and his community.
