Obituary of Carmino A. Pape
COEYMANS - Carmino A. “Chubby” Pape, born May 25, 1927, died May 21, 2013.
Chubby was born in Albany, son of the late Rocco and Nancy Frangella Pape. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Louise A. “Skippy” Palmer Pape; children Nancy (Daniel) Petramale, River Vale, NJ, Carolyn (Bruce) Pennino, Carlstadt, NJ and
Rocco (Patricia Phillips) Pape, Round Rock, TX; grandchildren Stefanie Petramale, Eric Pennino, Kristine & Michelle Pape; brothers John P. (Teresa), Slingerlands, Robert R. (Delphine), Shrewsbury, MA & Reverend William H. Pape, Albany; also survived by sister-in-law Barbara of Bluffton, SC. Predeceased by brothers Joseph R., Alfred E., Edward J. (Constance) and Lawrence A. Pape. Also survived by several aunts, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chubby was a lifetime communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Ravena. He served in World War II, and was a member of K of C and VFW.
Calling hours will be Saturday morning at St. Patrick’s Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, from 10AM – 11:30AM, at which time the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans.
