OAK HILL – Mary Moynihan, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 26, 2013. Born on April 7, 1922 in County Limerick, Ireland, she was daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Lane Murphy. Mrs. Moynihan was employed as a waitress at the Philip Morris Company in New York City. She and her late husband lived in Greenville since retirement. Mrs. Moynihan was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She also was a member of the Greenville Irish American Club. Survivors include her daughter, Nora and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; her daughter, Ann; and all of her siblings. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 State Route 81, Greenville, on Wednesday, May 1, where Mary’s Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
