Pat, Jim and family,
We were saddened to learn of your loss. Another true American hero and loved one has passed into the waiting arms of the Lord. Our most sincere sympathy is extended to your entire family.

I will always remember Howard for his love of video games, and his sense of humor. He always had funny jokes when we went to visit him. I loved making cookies for him. He was like a kid in an adult body, and always had to have a game or toy that we had. That was Howard. I will always remember him, expecially on Veterans Day.
I have enjoyed writing cards to him on Veterans Day, and I wish he were still here, so he could share his stories of war with me, now that I am old enough to understand. I will miss him, and watching him play his deer shooting video games.
Very sorry for your loss. Howard and I served Mass together in Oceanside, were in the same grade, etc. When I saw the tag on the pickup this afternoon, I was in shock. After all these years, we were almost neighbors!
