Obituary of Judith A. Case

MEDUSA – Judith A. “Judy” Case, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness. Born at home in Medusa on June 5, 1939, she was daughter of the late Russell J. and Ruth Hammon Case. Judy attended Greenville Central School. She was employed for 44 years at Stiefel Laboratories in East Durham, retiring in 2002. Judy was an associate member of the Medusa Volunteer Fire Company. She enjoyed bird watching, solving jigsaw puzzles, and was proud of her frog collection. Judy is survived by her brothers, Russell J. Case Jr. (Margurite), Ronald W. Case Sr. (Janet) and Jonathan Case Sr. (Patricia); nieces and nephews, Ronald Case Jr. (Stacy), Justin Case (Becky), Juanita Case (Jim), Russell III, Michael, Mark, Linda, Elizabeth, Jonathan Jr., Danny, Tina, Shawn; grandnieces and grandnephews, Matthew (Brittany), James Cliffe Jr., Ronald III, Amber, Austin, Hannah, Justin Jr., Courtney, Emmitt, Lane, Veronica, Michael, Dillon, Aaron, Abigail, Madison, Taylor, Jeffrey, Christopher, Mark II, Brittany, Heather, Jonathan, Samantha, Derek, Shelby, Sawyer, Clinton, Jedediah, Quinton; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
