Vera Kraker, 74 years of Preston Hollow, NY passed away on Feb. 27, 2013 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s in Albany, NY. She was born in the Bronx, NY on Jan. 2, 1939, daughter of the late Carl and Betty (Vierneisel) Prange. Vera was a life long homemaker. She loved gardening and was known by her family and friends as a “Gentleman Farmer”. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to many. Besides her parents, Vera was predeceased by her husband Alois Kraker, Jr. Surviving is her daughter Victiria H. Kraker (Lee) her sons Alois (Lou) Kraker (Karen), Karl Kraker (Amy) her grandchildren Seth, Michael & Stephanie Kraker, George & Erich Geldner and a sister Eleanor Hafer. Funeral service will be on Monday March 4, 12noon at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR81, Greenville, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 am to 12 noon prior to the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
