WESTERLO - Harriet E. (LaGrange) Bernard, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her home. She was born in Westerlo on January 30, 1929, and was a life long resident. Harriet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westerlo and the Women’s Guild. She was a loving and respected wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to her life long love on August 29, 1948. She loved playing cards, good conversation over a cup of hot tea, and Sunday dinner with her family. She is survived by her children Monique Heslin, Georgi Diamond, Valerie Trossbach (Paul), Jeff Bernard, Marcel Bernard and Roxane Lamb (Steven), 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Richard Bernard (Chubby), brother Wayne LaGrange (Margie), sister Margaret Maynes. She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years Donald “Dinny” Bernard, her parents William and Leona LaGrange, her grandson Garrett Barton. Calling hours will be Friday February 8 from 4 pm to 8 pm at AJ Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Saturday February 9 at 11 am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Westerlo Rural Cemetery.
