Born in Schenectady, Bernice was the beloved daughter of the late Loren and Nellie (née Case) Winn. Bernice attended Greenville Central High School before embarking on a fulfilling journey in the workforce, where her warm personality and ability to make friends made every workplace feel like home.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—baking and gardening were her true passions, filling her days with creativity and nurturing. She cherished camping trips, lively country music, and the escape of a good book, creating countless cherished memories with her family. A devoted mother to her four children, Bernice often expressed how their births transformed her life for the better. Her unwavering love and support were the foundation upon which her family thrived.
She is survived by her daughters Gail Lee and Penny (Randy) Britton, and her son Harold (Darlene) Lee Jr. Her grandchildren Harold (Erica) Lee III, Roxanne (Sean) Moroney, Meghan (Ian) McFarland, Alec (Kendall) Hulbert. Her great grandchildren-Liam, Miles, Chloe and Nolan were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Bernice is also survived by her sister Lorrine Helmedach.
