**Obituary for Peter Charles Fritz II** It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Charles Fritz II, age 61, of Ravena, who departed from this world on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on April 10, 1963, to the late Peter and Dorothy (Price) Fritz, Peter was a beloved son and a cherished friend to many. Growing up in the serene town of Rensselaerville, NY, Peter graduated from Greenville Central High School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with hard work and passion. He dedicated many years to his career as a Bridge Construction Inspector, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

His warm spirit and infectious smile made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Peter found immense joy in the warm weather and beautiful shores of South Carolina, where he felt most at home. He had a deep love for his dog, Otis, and a keen interest in collecting vintage custom Chevrolet trucks, each one reflecting his unique personality and zest for life.

In an act of profound generosity, Peter was a registered organ donor, and we are heartened to know that his gift has already changed the lives of two individuals. His selflessness and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother James Matthew Fritz.

Peter is survived by his fiancé, Lillian Valentine; his sister, Christine (Bohdan) Wynnyk; sister-in-law Jennifer Fritz; nephew Alex Fritz; and nieces Lindsay (Devan) Spahr and Nicole (John) Mulledy. He also leaves behind his uncle William (Lois) Price, cherished cousins Steven and Ryan Fritz, and many other beloved family members and friends.

Peter will be deeply missed, not just for his vibrant personality, but for the warmth and love he brought into the lives of those around him.

As we remember him, we find solace in the words, “As you sail into the mystic, we know you will be heading home.”
