Obituary of Tammy R. Rogers

Tammy Rose Sitterly-Rogers, 57, of Greenville, NY, passed away on Friday, August 16th, 2024. Tammy was born on August 7th, 1967, in Albany, NY, the daughter of Kathryn Morey Sitterly and Earl A. Sitterly. Tammy was the 5th born of 6 children.

Tammy married her husband, Donald B. Rogers Jr., on December 21st, 2002, in Greenville, NY. They raised 6 children and were blessed with 11 grandchildren. Tammy was beloved by all who knew her. Those close to Tammy and Donny knew that they shared a deep and genuine love—they were truly soul mates. Tammy cherished spending time with her family and friends. Her love for her grandchildren was evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed playing bingo, pool, and going thrift shopping. Tammy had a radiant smile, beautiful brown eyes that beamed light and love, an excellent sense of humor, and was kind and accepting of everyone. She brightened every room she entered.

Remaining to cherish Tammy's memory are her husband, Donald B. Rogers Jr.; children, Nicholas Potter, Katie Potter, Matthew (Lorrain) Rogers, Kelly (Michael) Snyder, Megan Rogers, and Jackie (Mailk) Rogers; grandchildren, Adam, Cayden, Chloie, Cameron, Skylar, Braylynne, Matthew, Abigail, Sabrina, Aliyah, and Hessa; sister, Carol Sitterly; brothers, Earl (Lisa) Sitterly, Dan (Joy) Sitterly, and Jamie Sitterly; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Eral Sitterly, her beloved sister Vanessa Sprague, her mother-in-law Gail Quagliano, her brothers-in-law David and Danny Rogers, her best friend Melanie Palliser, as well as by many aunts, uncles, friends, and other family members.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, 11:00am at AJ Cunningham Funeral Home located at 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY.
