Obituary of Paul A. Asaro
Paul A. Asaro, born on July 9, 1963, in Astoria, Queens, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25th. He was 61 years old. Son of the late Salvatore Paul and Madaline Asaro, Paul lived a life marked by service and commitment. He attended Saint Mel's and Holy Cross High School before pursuing further studies at Delhi College. Paul devoted 28 years of his life to the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) as a fireman, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community. Additionally, he excelled as an appliance mechanic with the family business, S.P.A. Service Co.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Anthony Matthew, his brother Carl Francis of the FDNY, his sister Sally Ann and his son Paul Anthony Morfino.
Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his wife, Denise Asaro; his children, Jenny Rose Asaro and Gregory Charles Morfino; his grandchildren Natalie Rose Lofaro and Declan Anthony Morfino, as well as his brother Peter Michael Asaro.
Paul was a man of unwavering dedication, which he brought to the roles of father, husband, brother, and fireman. His unparalleled work ethic was matched only by his playful spirit and curious nature. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

All are invited to a memorial celebration of Paul’s life being held on Thursday, August 1st from 12pm to 4:30 pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY. A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm.
