Obituary of Jennifer Ann Zakovic
GREENVILLE - Jennifer Ann Zakovic died unexpectedly at her winter home in Zephyrhills, Florida on Saturday March 9, 2024 at the age of 43.
Jenn graduated from Greenville High School in 1999, she then attended Columbia Greene Community College where she received her associate degree. She was raised in Greenville and spent most of her life there and was a proud member of the Becker and Sunny Hill families. Jenn had a passion for animals and was an avid equestrian and a wonderful dog mom.
She is survived by her father Wayne Nicholsen and Grandmother Lillian Becker, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dog Blu. Jenn is now reunited with her beloved mother Kathy Becker Nicholsen and the dogs she loved so dearly, Zephyr, Sunny, and Maisy Mae.
Jennifer is also survived by her Zakovic family, father Gary (Susan), and brother Evan of Poconos, Pennsylvania.
Family and friends are invited to call at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, on Saturday, April 6th from 9 until 11am. The funeral will be conducted at 11am at the funeral home, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Catskill. “May the smile on your face come straight from your heart.”
