Obituary of Cindy Lee McAneny
NORTON HILL – Cindy Lee McAneny, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in The Pines at Catskill.
Cindy was born in Catskill on April 19, 1951, a daughter of the late Edward and Marilyn Brandow McAneny. She was a lifelong resident of Greenville, a graduate of Greenville Central School, and attended two years of college. Cindy worked in the banking industry for several years, and then worked for 25 years in the reservations office at Sunny Hill Resort, retiring 10 years ago. Cindy loved all kinds of animals.
Cindy is survived by her siblings, Richard McAneny, Melanie Wendel, and Donna Lynn Jones; her loving companion, Stephen George and his daughters, Jessica and her son Connor, and Stephanie; her nieces and nephews, Brenda, Vicki, Philip, Christopher, Sarah, Laura, and Seth.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 10th, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. A reception will be announced. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Cindy’s love for animals, memorial donations to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson, NY 12534 will be appreciated.
