I am truly blessed to have had Christel in my life. She was my mom’s best friend and they shared many adventures together. When my mom passed, Christel took me under her wing and gave me comfort and guidance and immediately became my “adopted Mom”. She and I had many deep conversations. She had lost her daughter, and I had lost my mom, so it seemed only natural that we connected…we clearly needed each other.
Our conversations revolved around memories, history and family. Because of my Mom and Christel, I am the strong, confident, compassionate person I am today!
