Obituary of Linda Robin Bond
In loving memory of Linda Bond, born in Albany on November 15, 1954, and died peacefully surrounded by love on December 15, 2023. Linda was born and raised in Albany, NY, and later moved to South Bethlehem. During her time in S. Bethlehem, she learned to drive tractor-trailers for a living. She was also a self-taught painter and skillfully captured the beauty of horses and animals in her artwork.
She then moved to Malta, NY where she fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a horse farm. Throughout her years in Malta, NY she cared for her many horses and also bred and raced standardbred horses.. She retired from the horse business and eventually moved to Greenville where she spent her days enjoying nature and caring for her remaining horses, dogs, and cats alongside her husband Chuck. A lifetime animal lover in every sense, she extended her caring heart to creatures big and small. Linda’s legacy of love for animals is a testament to her kindness and positive impact she made in the lives of the furry and feathered she cared for so deeply, Linda's care and kindness knew no bounds, extending to her cherished family and friends with her generous spirit. She poured her heart and soul into all things she loved.
Her memory will continue to be a source of love and inspiration to all those whose hearts she touched. Linda is forever cherished by her loving husband Chuck and her very loved German Shepherds Pearl and Ruby and cat Wishbone, as well as her family that loved her beyond measure.
She is predeceased by her mother Amy and Father Keith. Survived by her devoted husband Charles, sisters Janie Granger(Tim), and Nancy Bond (Joe), and brother Rick Surett (Kim) along with many nieces and nephews.
May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by those loved and lost both human and furry.
