Obituary of Grace Ann Hare

 

GREENVILLE – Grace Ann Dudley Hare, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

          Born in Albany on November 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Lester P. and Mae Hager Dudley.  Grace graduated from Greenville Central School.  She did waitressing and bartending at Irwin’s in Ravena, drove a school bus for Coxsackie Transport, and worked as a secretary at Tip-Top Furniture in Freehold.  In later years, Grace was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family.  She attended St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville.

          Grace is survived by a son, Charles Dudley; a brother, Kenneth (Anna) Dudley; three grandchildren, John Hoch, Chad Hoch, and Codie Marsico; six great-grandchildren, Chase, Christopher, Evelyn, Emma, Karsyn, and Michael; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her husbands, Marvin Blodgett and Nelson Hare; her children, Theresa Hoch, Marlene Marsico and Bobby Dudley; and her brothers, Lester, Robert, Charles, Frank, and Harry Dudley.

          Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 8th from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m.  A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, November 9th at 10 a.m. in Greenville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Michael J.
