EARLTON – Shirley Jane Mullen, 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family.


Born in Brockport on August 29, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Marian Sage LaDue. Shirley was raised in Hilton and graduated from Hilton High School. She lived in Arkport and Selkirk, and most recently in Earlton. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, baking, and spending time with her family.


Shirley is survived by her children, Craig (Debbie) Mullen, Tracey Mullen, and Scott (Melinda) Mullen; grandchildren, Justin and John Stratta, Amanda Cole, Zoe and Connor Mullen; great-grandchildren, Talia, Dean, and Landon; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Mullen; her parents; brother Laverne “Lefty” LaDue; and sisters, June Haus and Dorothy LaDue.
