CAIRO – Gloria E. Holdridge passed away at her residence on Saturday morning, October 7, 2023.


She was born in Cairo on May 7, 1936, daughter of the late Heinrich “Henry” and Ana Silar Eisenhardt. Gloria graduated from Cairo High School and lived all her life in Greene County. She had a lifelong devotion to her family. They vacationed in the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 50 years, and her children and grandchildren have maintained that tradition.


Gloria is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ronald L. Holdridge; children, Michael (Kathleen) Holdridge of Catskill, Ronald D. (Deborah) Holdridge of Cairo, Kevin (Suzanne) Holdridge of Cairo, and Amy (Thomas) Fucito of Purling; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
