Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. VanAlstine. I remember that he was our class advisor at RCS. At one time he was also an active member of the Ravena Hose Company, serving as a member of Fire Police. He was an all-around nice man, and I will miss seeing him around town, especially driving his old car from the 1950’s.
