Obituary of Charles Golding
SELKIRK – Charles Golding, 88, passed away peacefully at his residence on
Charles was born in
Charles was active in Boy Scouts and Hudson Valley Little League, and was a lector at St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena for a number of years. He played golf at Sycamore Golf Club in the now-named Golding League, and bowled for many years at Del Lanes.
Charles bought Midway Cafe with a business partner in 1996. The cafe is still open and is now owned by Miguel Lopez and his family.
Charles is survived by his wife, Pat; children, David (Leslie), Joyce, and James (Tracy); grandchildren, Samantha, Andrew, and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Anica, Charlie, and Owen; siblings, Richard (Paula) of Tennessee, Janet Kenyon (Harold) and Linda Decker (George) both of Worcester; a number of nieces and nephews.
Charles has been cremated privately. Calling hours will be Friday, July 14th from
