Dear Joy, Cheryl, Linda and Bonnie, and sons Randall, Richard (Mary Harnett), and Steven (Michail Shaw). Erik, Elizabeth, Scot, Wendy, Kelly, Grady, Kristin, Jesse, Casey, Matthew and Timothy; and family. I am very saddened to hear about Ralph's passing. He was instrumental to the town of Somers when he helped save the historical town from evil corporations from coming in. He had such a passion for history when in the historical society. He was such a gentle soul and will never be forgotten.

Terribly sorry to hear of Ralph's demise, and regret I can't be with you in July due to the long distance. May you all be blessed. Ralph will be dearly missed.

I had the honor of knowing Ralph from attending services at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Norton Hill where he was one of the first people to welcome me to the church. From that Sunday through all the Sundays that followed he never missed an opportunity to greet me and make me feel as though I was welcomed there. He was a truly good human being who was not only a faithful member of the church but also a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his family. Rest in Peace.
