GREENVILLE – Stephen J. Wickham, 30, died suddenly Thursday, November 1, 2012 in an accident at work. Born in Albany on January 11, 1982, he lived in Greenville for most of his life. Steve graduated from Greenville Central School and SUNY College at Cobleskill. He moved to Albany and worked in the automotive industry for several years. Steve moved back to Greenville 5 years ago. He worked at Lafarge Cement in Ravena for about 6 years before being employed for the past 8 months at his current job as an equipment and machine operator for North American Quarry & Construction Services in Catskill. Steve was an avid hunter and snowmobiler. Steve and the love of his life, Amanda Vetere, were married on September 29 of this year. In addition to Amanda, Steve is survived by his parents, Jerry Wickham (Donna) and Susan Wickham (Mike Young); his sister and brother, Michelle and Tyler Wickham; several cousins and many friends. Following Steve’s wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Greenville & Norton Hill, 5830 State Route 81, Greenville.
