Obituary of Gerald Alen Goodfellow
Gerald Alen “Jerry” Goodfellow, 81 years, of Preston Hollow, passed away on Friday December 23, 2022 at The Pines at Catskill. He was born on Tuesday March 25, 1941 in Catskill to the late Ralph and Edna Hallock Goodfellow. Raised in Westerlo, he was a graduate of Berne Knox Westerlo School. Having resided in Medusa, Cornwallville, and then Preston Hollow, Jerry worked as a programmer at Stiefel Laboratories for his entire work life. He enjoyed golfing and he adored his dog Missy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Kim Goodfellow.
Jerry is survived by his loving companion Lois Winans; his sister Donna (Walter) Winans-Ingalls; two sons Chad (Amy) and Darren; grandchildren Scott (Taylor), Sierra (Brendon), and Taylor; and great grandson Chase.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, December 29th from 2 to 4pm at A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. Gerald's interment will take place on Friday, December 30th at 12pm at the Potter Hollow Rural Cemetery, County Route 362, Preston Hollow.
