My deepest condolences to the entire Kent family. I worked for Colonial Manor for two summers. The Kents were good, fair people to work for. Memories abound. May Mr. Kent rest peacefully.

My condolences to you all. What fond memories I have of Kurt and your family. Our parents met in 1950’s. In 1968, on way home from niagra falls, we stopped at Balsam Shade where they originally met. We reconnected again and would go to back to Balsam shade every year. We had Superbowl Sundays, Balsam shade, Colonial manor and Florida. To include card games, shuffleboard, casino activities and many many more, My girls have fond memories of Kurt and Florence from Florida. His memory is forever in my heart which amounts to 52 years Sorry for your loss again. May his memory be a blessing. ❤️Love you all. Christina

Florence, Susan, Cathy Ann, Linda and Kristine.. Where do I begin, or what can I say? Though there were opportunities I regret I missed, I will always remember the times I had over the years with you. The summers at Colonial Manor and the Jets game we enjoyed in Cleveland. So please try to hold on to your precious memories as you go through the days ahead. My prayer is for God's comfort. I love you all dearly. Barbara and Joe

My deepest condolences to my "family". Oh, how I loved your dad. He truly was a benevolent person. I have so many wonderful memories with you Susan, Cathy Ann and a little bit of Linda (I got to babysit you as a 15 month old many years ago) and, of course, your momma and daddy!!! I was able to live with you during a portion of the summer months in Monroeville. I remember going to Canada with all of you to see the Mounted Police as well as Expo '67. :-) Thank you for the memories!! I love you all!! May your days ahead be filled with "memories"! As Christopher Robin said to Pooh, "I didn't know we were making memories.
I thought we were just having fun" ! Aunt Carol XOXO!!

What a truly remarkable brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle Kurt was. When his girls were very young I remember he would have them brush their teeth at bedtime and they would have to come down and smile, sometimes he would make them repeat it three times lol. The girls would pleasantly argue and put up a fuss but they would do as he instructed them. I think so! I also remember as kids to get rid of the loud children running around in the house Kurt would throw a couple handfuls of change out in the yard and we would be out there collecting it for 30 minutes sometime maybe an hour? Numerous times I know Kurt helped out my mother who was a struggling widow with several children at home and Kurt and Irene would take us places with the kids packed in the back of the station wagon. Kurt was very intelligent and always had wise advice for my family and I. My wife and I and Children will miss Kurt greatly. What a positive influence he always was. Kurt and Irene raised four marvelous girls I should say ladies. All of them as quick witted and fun to be with as he was. May our Lord have grace and mercy on the children and their families. We love you all Charlie & Dianna and Family.
