Obituary of Mary Anderson

EARLTON – Mary Anderson, 79, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2022. She was born in Catskill on March 1, 1943 to the late Freleigh and Beatrice Vandermark Deyo. Mary was a lifelong resident of Earlton, and worked as a chambermaid at Schmollinger’s, sold Avon, was a home health aide for many years, and was a clerk at Cumberland Farms. She enjoyed yard sales, crafts, search and find puzzles, and baking. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Corliss F. “Andy” Anderson on August 4, 2021 and by her brother, Michael Deyo.            

Mary is survived by her children, Tammy Osborn (Bryan Alix) and Danny Anderson (Amanda); her grandchildren, Brett Mickle, Katy Mickle, and Chelsea Anderson (Michael Casazza); her great-grandchildren, Brett, Sara, Zoey, Hayleigh, Cameron, Jenna, and JJ; her siblings, Debbie Johnson (Rocky) and Robin Keator (Rob); sister-in-law, Maria Elena Deyo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.          

A calling hour will be held on Monday June 27th from 10 to 11am at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by a service at 11am. She will then be interred in the Greenville Cemetery. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
