I had the privilege of working with Marilyn when I was the youth choir director at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kingston when she was the organist. I appreciated her support and musicality when accompanying my youth choir. She was truly one of the best organists our church has ever had. We were blessed to have been a recipient of her musical gifts! My oldest daughter Serena loved listening to her play. My prayers and condolences are with her sons, family and grandchildren. She is now reunited with her husband Walter and watching over all of you. I'm sorry I will not be able to attend her service tomorrow, but know that you are all in my thoughts. Mrs. Hoare was my piano instructor and my music teacher at Greenville as well. I was not aware of all of her musical accomplishments and her contributions to the world of music. I am honored to have been under her instruction. My condolences to Mrs. Hoare's family
