Obituary of Ruth S. Reinhard

GREENVILLE - Ruth S. Reinhard, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. Born on Nov. 16, 1926 in Trexlertown, PA, she was daughter of the late Horace and Irene Snyder Reichelderfer. Ruth was raised and educated in Allentown. She married a Marine, CW4 Clarence J. "Jim" Reinhard in 1946 and lived in Verona, NC for several years. The family also resided in Coxsackie and Saugerties, where Ruth was employed as administrative assistant at Dynacool, retiring in 1980. Ruth and Jim were living in Greenville when he passed away on May 17, 2002. She resided in Cazenovia before moving to Coxsackie late last year. Ruth enjoyed watching tennis and basketball, especially Duke and Syracuse. She played bridge, was an avid reader, enjoyed baking and walking the beach, collecting shells and shark's teeth. Ruth was a member of the Greenville-Norton Hill United Methodist Church. Ruth is survived by her children, Donald (Elaine) Reinhard, David (late Mary Lynn) Reinhard and Kathleen (Michael Henn) Reinhard; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two cousins, Diane Beltz and Ronald Bechtel. Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 29 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m., followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation will be appreciated.
