Obituary of Harriet R. Bean

COEYMANS – Harriet R. Bean, 97, passed away on Wednesday March 16, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1924 to the late Joseph and Antoinette DeFlumer. Raised in Coeymans, she then resided in Selkirk for the past 15 years. She worked as a secretary for Powell & Minnock Brickyard in Coeymans. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wallace D. Bean, Jr. and her granddaughter, Andrea Marie Vadney. Harriet is survived by her daughter, Annette (Richard) Vadney; her grandson, Richie Vadney; her sister, Betty (Angus) Doyle, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday March 22nd at 1pm at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans.
