Obituary of Edith S. Lansing
RENSSELAERVILLE – Edith S. Lansing, 93, passed away on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on January 15, 1928 in Palatine Bridge, NY to the late George and Edna Chrisman Saltsman. She was raised in East Stone Arabia and graduated from Fort Plain High School. In 1949, she married J. Robert “Bob” Lansing, and together they resided in Rensselaerville for over 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, J. Robert Lansing in 2010; her grandson, Thomas Marillo; and her siblings, Clyde, Thalen, Arnold, Malcom, and Leo Saltsman, Thelma Boyer and Mildred Bowlen.
