Obituary of Margaret J. Clouse

COLONIE – Margaret J. Clouse, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2021, at St. Peter’s Hospital with her sister by her side, following a short illness. Margaret was born on May 3, 1929, in Coeymans, NY to the late Salvadore and Sarah Pascuzzi Clouse. After graduating from the Cathedral Academy in Albany NY, Margaret attended Albany Business College and later moved to Juneau, Alaska where she worked as a legal secretary for the State of Alaska Commissioners for five consecutive Administrations. After retirement in 1987 she moved back to Albany where she loved spending time with her family and friends, keeping fond memories of her time in Alaska. . Margaret is survived by her beloved sister Esther Rappold; sisters-in-law Judith Clouse and Mary Ann McCarville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved friends, Agnes and Paul Millson. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Rose Farinelli, Mary Jane Fabian, Joseph Clouse, Susan Hanson, Virginia Douglas, Julia Clouse, Peter Clouse, and James Clouse. Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Peter’s Hospital Emergency Department and 2 McCauley staff who provided care and compassion to Margaret and her family during her illness. Special thanks to all of her neighbors and friends who loved and supported her over many years and during her illness. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 6th from 9am to 11am at the St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am. She will then be laid to rest with her family in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colonie EMS, 312 Wolf Road, Latham, NY 12110. Arrangements by A.J.
