Obituary of Adrian M. Elliott
Adrian Merle Elliott, 88, passed away, on Thursday January 28th, , beloved husband of 60 years, father of 9, grandfather of 9, & great-grand father in Richmond, VA after a brief illness. Adrian, of Mechanicsville, VA, formerly of Woodville, NY and Greenville, NY.; son of the late T. Merritt and Ruth E. (Ingalls) Elliott of Greenville, NY. Adrian married Edna R. (Jennings) Elliott in East Durham, NY, October 6th 1949. Adrian owned and operated the family dairy farm on Old Plank Road in Greenville from 1949 to 1978 and moved to a 400-acre farm in Woodville, NY in 1978. Mr. Elliott was a Master of the Catskill Valley Grange; and member of New York State Farm Bureau and Dairy League Cooperative. He drove school bus at the Greenville Central School for 10 years. Adrian and Edna retired to Virginia in the early 1990's.
Survived by his children: Gail Elliott, of VA; William "Bill" and Marla Elliott of Adam Center, NY; Carol Elliott of VA; David & Debbie Elliott of Adams, NY; Roger, Theodore "Ted", and Gary and Eve Elliott all of Fort Plain, NY, and daughter-in-law, Nancy Elliott. Survived by 8 grandchildren, Justin, Jaime Hoyman, Christopher A. "Farley", David Shaffer, Kari, Aaron, Jordan & Cole; 4 great-grandchildren Dylan Fredrick, Kyla Elliott, Tanner & Zeke Hoyman. Survived by sisters Irene Williams, Betty McAneny. Sister-in-laws Lynn Elliott, Marguerite Elliott. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son, Raymond Elliott, 1963; his first born son Thomas A. Elliott, 2003; first born grandson Thomas "Tommy" Merritt Elliott, 2005. Sisters Muriel Garrison, Clarice Adamson, brothers Robert "Bob" Elliott, & Ronald Elliott.
